The Texture:
Bitter orange water, sun-warm and unmistakable — the kind of scent that follows a hand through a house rather than staying in one room. Tart floral top notes open bright and citrus-sharp, softening into something powdery, warm, self-possessed.

Narange water wasn't a fragrance. It was a habit, folded into everything — patted onto skin after a bath, added in homemade beauty rituals, kneaded into dessert dough before it went into the oven, misted into a room just to change how it felt to be in it. It didn't announce itself. It was simply present, the way certain rituals are present without ever being named as rituals.
I've come to understand it as a kind of self-devotion — not for anyone watching, not for how it made me appear to others, but for how it made me feel returning to my own skin. A small, daily insistence: you are worth this care too.
No.3.1 opens with that same uplift — bitter orange, bright and impossible to ignore — before settling into something more tart, a warm rhubarb, then, a quieter and more powdery, the way a ritual settles into a life. It isn't a scent made to be worn for someone else. It's a love letter, addressed to the self you're still becoming.
